A Light Hearted Comedy "Love Ka Tadka"
The film stars Sameer Dattani , Nauheed Cyrusi, Bakhtiyaar Irani and Satish Kaushik. Rajan defines the film in his words, ‘Love Ka Tadka is a feel-good romantic comedy aimed at both the mass and class audience.
The concept has been selected after a lot of research. As the title suggests, the film essentially deals with love and the various spices or shades it has. Our story bgins with a romantic track between Aditya (played by Sameer Dattani) and Sheetal (played by Nauhid Cyrusi). An exaggerating and overly emotional father (played by Satish Kaushik) takes the humour to another level. This tongue-in-cheek comedy has all the ingredients required to cook up a fun film.’
The story begins with Aditya, a struggling, middle class boy who makes ends meet working in “Easy Finance” as an executive. Aditya’s life revolves around his work, friend Vicky and his corrupt boss till he accidentally bumps into pretty Sonia, who keeps mistaking him for a Romeo.
Every time Aditya tries to follow his friend Vicky’s advice and prove his innocence, he only ends up creating a bigger misunderstanding. In this process, he ends up falling in love with her. And eventually, they end up getting married. However, our story does not end here with ‘They live happily ever after’.
This pure vegetarian film with a little tangy Tadka and a slightly spicy story will end up leaving a sweet taste and a smile on your faces. That is what the producers are hoping for. The film releases on Friday, Oct 23.
When we contacted Sameer to elaborate on his new film, he was not available for comment, as he was shooting abroad. Nauheed said, “My character is cool; and it’s a simple film with a light-hearted appeal.” She gushes about Sameer, “He’s a sweet guy, and the whole unit of the film was fun to work with.”
