The problems for Raajneeti seem to be getting more pronounced. Earlier this week, there was a Mumbai-based social worker Naseem Khan who filed a petition in court against Raajneeti asking for its release to be stopped because one of the central characters apparently resembles Sonia Gandhi.
Now one hears that actor and self-styled star Kamal R Khan (or KRK as he likes to be called) has sent Prakash Jha a legal notice claiming rights over the title Raajneeti.

Even before the Hrithik Roshan- Barabara Mori starrer ‘Kites’ hits the screens, the movie is creating ripples enough about the sensuous and flirty scenes between the two actors, but the international version of the movie seems to have far bolder scenes than the desi version. The international one has a sizzling liplock between topless Barbara with Hrithik Roshan which is censored to the Indian audience. With Nandana Sen’s ‘Rang Rasiya’ already clearing off the censor with topless scenes, the question arises that do movie makers still doubt the maturity of Indian audience.

Chandigarh, Former Miss India and actress Gul Panag will now be seen in a new avatar of a crusader disseminating awareness about social evils like female foeticide and drug addiction.
She has joined hands with the Chandigarh administration for this endeavour. The health department here has enrolled a city-based NGO Shamsher Singh Foundation under the ongoing partnership initiative programme of Chandigarh administration, said officials here Thursday.

New Delhi, Indian designers feel that Aishwarya Rai was looking “pretty” and “elegant” in a train gown at the opening ceremony of the Cannes International Film Festival, yet some wished she had stuck to a sari.
The 36-year-old actress had Wednesday night worn a violet blue fully embroidered tulle and mousseline gown from Lebanese designer Elie Saab, teaming it with round solitaires and topped with a buffon hairstyle – reminding one of yesteryears actresses like Sharmila Tagore.

Shooting of the Kangana Ranaut-Madhavan starrer “Tannu Weds Mannu”, planned in a mosque in this Punjab town, was cancelled after protests by the local residents, police said.
According to the officials, the shooting of the movie was planned inside a mosque here but was cancelled on the orders of Kapurthala deputy commissioner Rajkamal Chaudhary.

Bollywood is heading for another splitsville and this time it is actor Arshad Warsi and wife Maria who have been together for over a decade now. The reason is the same old one- the entry of a third person in a happy marriage. Apparently, Arshad’s linkup with Dia Mirza had been disturbing Maria and time and again, news of trouble in their relationship kept cropping up.

India’s music maestro AR Rahman and Bollywood’s lovely London beauty Katrina Kaif were the chief guests at a gathering recently held in Mumbai to launch the nursery rhyme collection ‘Rhymeskool’.
During her address, the actress, who has given a voiceover for the collection, said that people really want to listen to her voice, somebody wants her to speak in Hindi or somebody wants to hear her sing. She confessed that she is terribly bad at singing.
