Sonam Kpoor in an international film Baanj

Director Jagmohan Mundra, known for directing hard-hitting social awareness films, has Sonam in mind for a film titled Baanj. A story of a woman ostracized by society on not being able to conceive was written by Naresh Chandra 15 years ago. Mundra, who has bought the rights of the film, feels Sonam would be perfect for the part. The screenplay of the original was written by one of India’s most influential playwrights, the late Vijay Tendulkar.
