Last year, a Yash Raj film [RAB NE BANA DI JODI] and an Aamir Khan starrer [GHAJINI] were released in the same month – on 12th December and 25th December, respectively. Now Yash Raj is bringing its new release, ROCKET SINGH – SALESMAN OF THE YEAR, on the same date… well almost [11th December], while Aamir too is bringing 3 IDIOTS on 25th December.
The women from the focus group did not take well to the abusive language and sexual content in the movie. The film about two dacoits falling in love with a sensual widow had the women from the focus groups cringing in their seat. Producer Vishal Bharadwaj has not only produced but also penned the dialogues of the movie but has also been a guiding force for Chaubey throughout the shooting to the film.

A source tells us that Aamir has agreed to do the film as it is realistic and he wants to contribute to the cause of AIDS through this film which is only 95-minutes long. Priyadarshan wanted to make this film last year but he waited to see the reactions to his other realistic film, Kanchivaram. He got a positive response and now he is thrilled about his AIDS film. Aamir and Priyadarshan will team up for the first time if Aamir likes the script as much as the idea of the film.
