Apparently Natalie was under huge pressure to get the head-shaving scene right because there was only one chance to film it. The actress had once commented, “It was a one-shot deal and that was the most stressful thing about the experience.”

Salman Khan: Salman Khan has never been a predictable hero. His films are always full of surprises; hence the bald look which he sported for films like Tere Naam and Jaaneman didn’t surprise many.

Abhishek Bachchan got a lead role in Ekta Kapoor’s Special Chhabis

Neeraj Pandey needs a cast of 26 actors and he finalized Abhishek Bachchan for the lead role of conman Mohan Singh. This is because the character hails from UP and so does Abhishek Bachchan. The rural look suits the rugged AB. Also, the character is in his mid-30s and AB falls in the same age bracket. Like the other Rohan Sippy film he is doing, this film will also require plenty of research and character study as Neeraj wants Abhishek to get into the skin of the character.

Abhishek agreed to do the film because he thought A Wednesday was a brilliant film and Neeraj is a very sharp director who will bring out the best in him.

Meanwhile, Neeraj has decided not to make a prequel to A Wednesday and do something different which is why he is making Special Chhabis, which is based on a true story of the 1987 Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri robbery case. A conman, Mohan Singh recruited 26 officers. They posed as income tax officers and raided the showroom and stole jewellery worth millions of rupees in broad daylight. The film will go on the floors in mid 2010 once Neeraj Pandey manages to cast 26 actors who are perfect for their roles. The film will be shot in Mumbai and will be a taut thriller.

Neeraj Pandey said, ‘I am not going to deny Abhishek’s presence but I will make an official announcement once I have my entire cast on board.’ Neeraj is also producing a film called 3 Large, 1 Small which is the story of man who reflects upon his life. He is looking for a director and cast for the film.

Hrithik Roshan to play Leonardo's role in The Departed remake

According to the latest buzz Vishal Bhardwaj is gearing up to bring a remake of Academy Award winning movie, ‘The Departed’. Hrithik will be playing the character played by Leonardo Di Caprio in the English version.

The movie being a dark thriller will be shot at an apt location in Mumbai. And just like Leo, Hrithik will play an undercover cop in the movie. Hehas to be fully fit by the time movie starts to roll; right now, he is suffering from a knee injury and has been warned not to indulge in any kind risky stunts.

Though Hrithik is finalized; the actor who will play the role of another important character, played by Matt Damon is not yet known.

‘The Departed’ won four awards at the 79th Academy Awards but in case you didn’t already know, the film was itself a remake of the 2002 Hong Kong film ‘Infernal Affairs’, with Andy Lau as the informant and Tony Leung as the undercover cop infiltrating the gang of the criminal overlord Eric Tsang.

Infernal Affairs still remains the highest grossing movie of all time in Hong Kong.
